How to Turn 6 Pieces into an Entire Week Wardrobe

If you look closely to an off-duty model or street style star outfit of the day, you'll notice that their best outfits are often created from the most basic wardrobe staples. They master the art of making a a simple getup of jeans and a tee look like a million dollars, but it is actually easier to achieve than you think thanks to something fashion girls swear by: a capsule wardrobe. This method is all about creating a core collection of versatile, fits-like-a-glove pieces that can be mixed and matched with one another for any occasion.

 

We put this theory to the test by taking six pieces, ranging from a BBJ patched denim jacket (THAT WILL BE IN VERY SOON) to a must-have bodysuit, and creating an entire week worth of fall outfits. Keep reading to see how we did it we promise you'll never look at your closet the same way again.

 

 

THE PIECES:

The six items we rotated through from Monday through Friday:

- Leather pants (BBJ)

- Bodysuit

- DENIM TOP

- Tear&Repair Wide Cuff Ankle Fiona Jean (BBJ)

- Knit sweater

- Crop Denim Jacket (BBJ)

MONDAY

Start off the week with a simple yet perfect and comfy look. Pair the leather pants with the knit sweater.

TUESDAY

You need to love the denim on denim look this season. Wear our Wide Cuff Fiona Jean with a denim on denim top.

WEDNESDAY

We took the leather pants again but this time we’ll pair them with one of our favorites for the season, the bodysuit. Wear some black boots and rock the look!

 

THURSDAY

Same jeans from Tuesday will look great on with some white sneakers and the denim jacket, for a more casual look.

FRIDAY

Go sporty for Friday by taking the chambray shirt and knotting it around the waist. The leather pants and white sneakers will make it a casual look yet fashionable and sophisticated. 

It's all about mixing and matching with a little bit of creativity.
