Vacation Season has arrived, and with that, we tend to over-stress when it comes to packing.
Let us give you some do's & dont's to make your life as easy as it should be when you are about to leave for a relaxing trip.
1. OVER-THINKING = OVER-PACKING
Don't pack unnecessary things, if you are going to the beach, you don't need 3 jackets, since you are going to be in your swimsuit all day. Pack 1 for the chilly nights and mix and match it.
2. PLAN YOUR OUTFITS AHEAD.
When you are away from home, you don't have your whole closet to pick and choose an outfit of the day, so throw all your clothes over your bed and put together the outfits that you'll be wearing each day, this a great way for not to over pack and also to make sure your outfits will be on point every single day.
3. ROLL, DON'T FOLD.
Many travel experts including backpackers, who must stuff months' worth of clothing into a pack the size of a box of wine agree that rolling is superior to folding. Tightly rolled clothes take up less space than folded ones. Plus, they're less prone to getting deep wrinkles from fold creases.
4. SCALE BACK ON SHOES.
You know you don't need that many shoes anyways, so just keep that in mind.
5. DO NOT LEAVE IT TILL THE LAST MINUTE.
If you take at least a good 2 hours to pack, all of the above will happen. If not, GOOD LUCK! :)
